Daniel Castle has worked at the professional level as a photographer for the last ten years. His primary interest and area of focus is Documentary photography. He participates in the highly respected "Portland Grid Project," which photographs the city of Portland, OR to create a photographic archive of the city. Daniel is the youngest photographer invited to participate in the project and is both humble and grateful to be able to contribute. When photographing people on the street, often for the Portland Grid Project, his intention is to create photos which illustrate how each of us as humans are unique while at the same time demonstrating how each of us also have a great deal in common.
Daniel recently finished traveling the United States to all 48 of the adjoining states to document the country and show its genuine side. He worked for the ride share company Lyft along the way like a traveling taxi cab driver.
